When should you choose profile rail guides?

When the key requirements for an application are precision, stability and rigidity and long service life, profile rail guides are usually the first choice in practice. This solution is especially suitable for automated lines, CNC equipment, handling systems and all applications with higher loads or higher requirements for repeatable motion. 

Where do problems most often occur?

Problems are usually not related to the quality of the guide rail itself, but to an incorrect choice or implementation of the system. The most common reasons are: 

• incorrect selection of the linear motion system
• incorrect sizing of the guide rail or carriage
• insufficient lubrication
