Our range of heavy-duty wheels for industrial and logistics applications

We offer a wide selection of heavy-duty wheels designed for the most demanding working conditions. They are indispensable wherever standard transport wheels are not sufficient – in industry, logistics, manufacturing, warehouses and service systems. With load capacities from 150 kg up to 4,500 kg per wheel, they stand out for their robust construction, durable materials and smart design, providing safe, stable and long-lasting performance even under continuous use.

Advantages of heavy-duty wheels in everyday practice

Their greatest advantage is adaptability to different loads and conditions. Available in diameters from 60 to 360 mm and widths up to 80 mm, they provide optimal weight distribution and low rolling resistance, allowing easier movement even at maximum loads. Special tread materials further ensure silent running, resistance to chemicals, oils and cleaning agents, and long service life.

Different wheel designs for safe and efficient use in industry

To meet the needs of different users, we offer several versions:

  • Wheels, when only the wheel is required as part of design.
  • Swivel castors, enabling precise manoeuvring in limited spaces.
  • Swivel castors with brake, ensuring safety on slopes or during loading.
  • Fixed castors, allowing straight-line travel, suitable for long transport routes.

The most common setup combines two fixed and two swivel castors, the swivel ones often equipped with brakes, balancing manoeuvrability and stability.

Tread materials for longer service life and reliable operation

When choosing heavy-duty wheels, the tread material is crucial:

  • Polyurethane (PU): excellent for industrial floors, providing silent running, low rolling resistance and oil resistance.
  • Rubber (GU): offers comfort, grip and vibration damping on uneven surfaces.
  • Nylon and polyamide (PA): high rigidity, chemical resistance and easy cleaning – suitable for food and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Cast iron/grey cast iron: used in extreme conditions, resistant to high temperatures and heavy mechanical loads.

Wheel rims and construction for maximum load capacity

The rim construction determines load capacity and durability. Options include:

  • Steel rims – robust and reliable.
  • Aluminium rims – lightweight and corrosion resistant.
  • Grey cast iron rims – withstand extreme loads.
  • Composite rims (e.g. PA with glass fibre) – combine rigidity with temperature stability.

Bearing types and their impact on wheel performance

Efficiency and ease of movement depend on the bearing type:

  • Ball bearings (KR): precision, quiet running and minimal resistance – best for frequent movement.
  • Roller bearings (VA): excellent load capacity, suitable for impact loads.
  • Plain bearings (DR): simple, dust- and moisture-resistant, suitable for harsh conditions.

Forks and mounting for full integration into designs

Forks are available in various materials:

  • Steel forks (JE): for universal industrial use.
  • Stainless steel forks (inox): for hygiene-sensitive environments.
  • Malleable cast iron forks (TL): for extreme loads.

Mounting options include flanges or central fixing holes in diameters from 12 mm to 45 mm, allowing easy integration into any design.

Load capacities and dimensions for the toughest tasks

Load capacity is the key parameter. Our heavy-duty wheels range from 150 kg to 4,500 kg per wheel. Larger diameters, such as 200 mm or 250 mm, allow easier overcoming of uneven floors and reduce push force, while wider wheels provide greater stability and lower floor stress. We recommend always considering a safety factor, as in practice often only two wheels bear the load.

Adaptability to different working conditions and industrial requirements

Heavy-duty wheels are suitable for:

  • operation at high and low temperatures,
  • resistance to chemicals, oils and cleaning agents,
  • dusty, humid and mechanically demanding environments,
  • industries with strict hygiene standards (food, pharmaceuticals).

Special versions include antistatic and electrically conductive wheels for safety in explosion-prone areas.
